Who
We Are
Meadowbrook Christian Church is a family-oriented group of people who believe in and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. We
are young and old; black and white; traditional and contemporary. Like
you, we work and play; sing and cry; laugh and mourn. Your life is our
life; we are the same.
We claim no denominational name. We are known only as
Christian. We are part of the movement to return to the
beliefs and values of the Church of the New Testament. The Bible is our
only creed. We have no governing body. By their example of faith
and service, we are led by qualifed elders and deacons.
While we have staff ministers, each of us serve as ministers for
Jesus with our own unique style and giftedness. As all of the parts
of the human body are important, each person is an important part of the "body"
of Jesus. As such, everyone has a place at Meadowbrook Christian Church.

We Believe

Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God, who died for our sins and arose

Where
We've Been
On January 9th, 1955, the charter for, what was then called, Meadowbrook Church was accepted by the eleven qualified voters.
By May 1955, there were fifty-five names on the charter. The church met
in a basement until such time as a building could be built.
The people began using the name Meadowbrook Christian Church in 1960. In
May 2005, Meadowbrook celebrated fifty years of faithful service to Jesus.
Where
We Are
Currently, we enjoy the fellowship of approximately sixty men, women and children. We have ministries
for all ages. From our Sunday school and Children's Church for young
people to our adult Bible studies, everyone is sure to find a
ministry to meet his/her need.
Located just off MacArthur Road in the heart of a residential community,
our building is easily
located . With plenty of room for growth in a worship center
that will seat a hundred, we are actively seeking to introduce others to the
love of God and the fellowship of Meadowbrook Christian Church.
Where
We're Going
While we believe that every family of believers have the same purpose, each group of Christians must decide how they are
going to accomplish that purpose. Given our geographic location, our
community composition, and our passion, it is only natural for us to focus our
energy on reaching and ministering to families with school-age children.
The future looks bright. We are excited to see God working around
us and look forward to being used by God to fulfill his mission in the
world and this community. We expect as we more fully surrender to God, he
will continue to bless our faithful service. We anticipate growth, both
in spirit and in number.
